A message from Pastor Bob...
June 24, 2020
"Texas is currently experiencing a dramatic spike in the number of new Covid19 cases. In response to this situation, Governor Abbot has suggested that Texans stay home as much as possible. Earlier this week we sent out a communication to let everyone know that a person attending the 11:15 service on June 14 has tested positive for the virus. Therefore, we are strongly encouraging people to worship from home this Sunday (June 28). We will still worship on site at our regular times for those who are unable to attend online. However, strict social distancing will be required. That means masks that are properly fitted, frequent hand washing and sanitation, and avoiding physical contact. If you have symptoms or have been exposed to someone with symptoms, please do not attend worship this week. Likewise, if you are a person with serious underlying health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, or lung disease. Please protect yourself by staying home. Jesus’ one and only new commandment was that we love one another and one of the ways that we do that in a time of pandemic is to maintain safe social distancing practices.
As your incoming pastor, I look forward to meeting and getting to know each of you whenever we are able to do so. In the meantime, I welcome your calls, texts, and or emails. You are in my prayers."
